The TDSB down here is notorious for not having snow days; last time they had one it was a huge fluke.

once I had to drive my Ford Tempo on summer tires through a legitmate blizzard to turn in a paper. First snow storm of the 2008 winter. (You remember that one right...the bus strike winter)?

I remember that winter fondly, the strike made for 51 silent nights, as no buses passed by. I think a big snowstorm fell in March that year as well.

I lived on Main St. downtown. There was a traffic jam in front of my house 12 hours a day.

What is funny is that that is Way North here in Ontario, and us south and southwestern Types are like "damn that's almost igloo country". But In reality The Praries And BC are all in the same Approximate Parallels (Or Further North than that Even:).
